STORY

Based on Alfred, Lord Tennyson’s poem, “Crossing the Bar” and inspired by Roger Corman’s Edgar Allen Poe films. “Call for Me” tells the story of a young woman trying to join a secret Hollywood society called, “The Amaranths,” but can she and her skeptical boyfriend pass the test?

WHAT IT MEANT TO ME

I put together this project with the great folks over at Sherwood Productions, and it was our third collaboration. They’re a production company based in LA that focuses on live shoots and BTS, but they’re always looking for more creative projects. I wrote, directed, and edited this with immense help from David Sorafine’s cinematic eye and Chris Viglone’s art direction.

STORY

A weathered everyman builds birdhouses to pass the time, but when a tarantula makes its nest in one of his precious homes, the man determines to get rid of it even it means destroying the creations he loves.

WHAT IT MEANT TO ME

I put together this project with the great folks over at Sherwood Productions, and it was our second collaboration. I wrote, directed, and edited this and given it was my first short film, we decided to focus purely on the visuals and make a silent film.

STORY

A young man stays with his estranged half-sister as he visits a college, but what was suppose to be fun get together reveals their existential loneliness and their connection as siblings.

This was the first live action project I directed and my first collaboration with Sherwood Production. We shot four episodes over a weekend and use it as a pitch for an interactive series with Verse Media.
