Eric Emma is an award-winning scriptwriter, audio story creator, and director whose stories aim to be limitless in their imaginative scope and powerful in their meaning.
Growing up in-between the hearing and deaf world due to his parents’ deafness, Eric is driven to create stories that raise awareness and promote inclusivity and acceptance.
Eric has written stories for such firms as Hooked and Pocket Gems, having worked on the scriptwriting team that adapted Pretty Little Liars for the animation platform, Episode. He worked for three years as a producer and video editor at the Interactive Video Platform start-up, Verse, where he worked with firms like the Atlantic, PBS, and the New Yorker to tell cutting edge interactive stories. He’s the founder of the Venus Radio Theater, an audio theater dedicated to nurturing diverse and emerging dramatists. VRT has been awarded the UMEZ Arts Engagement Grant, LMCC Creative Engagement, NYFA Cultural Arts Grant due to its cultural value to the city of New York. Currently, he writes for the hit animated YouTube series, “Epic Career Quest.”
